Not sure why they call it a circus because I didn’t see any clowns (Except for the 2 guys that I came with) This Hawker Centre is a touristy place, but someone always wants to bring me here in the middle of the night when I’ve had too much to drink. It’s one of those places that stays open really late. In Singapore, a Hawker Centre is basically an outdoor food court with many local food stalls and tables. The local delicacy here is “Sting Ray” (right photo) Mmmmmmm..taste like catfish.

Some shots of the food stalls. The people are very aggressive and try to sell you their food. The whole place seems kinda dirty at first, but when you look closely you realize it’s fairly clean. Look at those prawns, bigger than some lobsters I know.

Many tables around the whole area, each table has a number so you just go up to any food stall and tell them your table number when you order and they’ll bring it to you. There were many empty tables when we arrived but they filled up quickly.

(1) Lime juice in the best, not available in Japan. I’m not a big fan of Sugarcane Juice which is also popular here (2) Satay is like Malaysian yakitori dipped in a sauce that taste like peanuts (3) Some kind of veggie that I don’t remember the name (4) The Sting Ray before we demolished it.

All of this looks so overwhelming delicious and exotic.
I seriously should try to find a restaurant where such food is served.
You are killing me with your food pictures, in Chile we don’t have any of that.
