The Ricoh GR Digital is fantastic in low light. I took this snapshot (automatic mode) on the way home and as you can see even in low light conditions the GR Digital comes through! It’s not particularly an interesting or good photo but compare it to these ones I took with my previous Canon IXY Digital 55. All were taken around the same area near Yurakucho station with about the same lighting conditions. Notice how there’s less noise and all the lines are very sharp and not muddy looking. I didn’t retouch this photo just reduced the size and compressed it a bit. Wonderful! Tomorrow night, if I have time I’ll take some photos in Ginza. This weekend I’m gonna try mounting the camera in my roadster and take some driving shots.
