I can’t believe I’m getting comments for these silly posts. Oh well, guess I will have to continue until the construction is done which could be another few months. Are you prepared for Ekimae 100+? As you can see this morning there was another truck unloading what looks like concrete gutters probably to line the ground around the steam locomotive. The big crane from yesterday is gone. It was used just to moved that chunk of steel in front of the locomotive.

(1) Here’s close up of the sign on the fence. It only says “SL (steam locomotive) hiroba under construction” How do you say hiroba in English? Open space? (2) I bet these signs will be able to tell us what’s gonna happen. Should I go down there tomorrow and take a picture of it? Spoilers anyone?

I checked the dictionary and it translates hiroba to plaza.
plaza…I prefer open space. It’s more descriptive.
Open space seems appropriate, plaza sounds a bit showy for a place to relax.
I guess it’s going to be some square te relax because those people depicted on that sign seem to be relaxing in front of the locomotive…
