Here’s the construction progress after 3 days. Only the fountain has been removed and some holes drilled into the tiles. At this rate, it’ll be spring before they finish.

Not directly related to your topic, but do you happen to know why Tokyo Tower sometimes goes dark by 12, at other times stay lit all night (at least until sunrise)? I’ve even seen that just the very top of the construction is lit up during night. Is there some logic behind the madness, or is it just the janitor that forgets to turn the switch when he goes home?
Tokyo Tower lights usually go off after midnight. I’m not around that area in the middle of the night so I can’t say whether they are on or off on special days.
