PRHT

PRHT means Powered Retractable Hard Top. I’ve been in a kind of Roadster slump since the beginning of the year. Haven’t been able to get out much and missed a whole bunch of weekends of perfect top-down-driving weather. But now that I’m getting a new one I’m all excited again! Not excited about my empty wallet but still happy nonetheless. Everyone should get one. Guaranteed to put a big smile on your face. Fifth Gear did a pretty good review of the roadster coupe, check it out! Stormy blue is a sweet colour.

Roy,
Here is another Mazda MX-5 video for you to enjoy. This video shows the comparison with MX-5 and Solstice.

By the way, congrats on your new MX-5 PRHT purchase. I bet you will enjoy it!

You are going to love that PRHT. I’ve driven a few roadsters myself and thought where was all the fun if it wasn’t a rag-top. I really loved the PRHT once I had it. Now that all those mechanical problem days are long gone, you will have nothing but fun.

I’m not a big MX-5 follower. Yes, they drive well, but, since I picked up my 2007 Impreza, there is no comparison - AWD really makes a difference.

I love doing power slides and passing those so-called faster cars. People wonder what the hell my car is when I drive by, since the drive train is so damn loud.
