I had the navigation and ETC installed by the guys at Naviokun. They usually send people out to customers’ houses to install the navigation but they also have a few garages, one of which was close by. I took these pictures with my keitai when I went to pick it up last night. From the side it almost looks like an S2000 doesn’t it? The guys at Naviokun were super nice and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them for your car navigation needs.

Any special reason why you didn’t go with a car navi option from Mazda? That dash looks a little complicated (no space for a 2 DIN display unless it’s the slide out type) and I’m guessing aftermarket units doesn’t have that “integrated -OEM” look. Is your new navi the stick-on-the-dash type?
My first choice in Nav system would be a panasonic 2 DIN one. However, the BOSE amp and 7 speakers which come with the car only work with a few select navigations systems which are Mazda dealer options. If I were to get the panasonic, I would have to rip out all the speakers and out new ones in. That would set me back quite a bit.
The dealer navs basically sucked, and were over priced but I heard many good things about the BOSE stereo that I decided to get the default system and go with the SONY on dash navigation. It’s a very slick looking on dash nav so it’s not an eyesore like my last one. And the nav is not too bad either.
