I had some cheap mats in my car but they kept slipping forward which made it difficult to start the car because it requires the clutch be fully depressed first, the thickness of the mat behind the peddle was just a bit too much. In the U.S. the car/traffic/registration system has gotten so bad that the local municipalities have turned it into an excuse to rob people by writing unnecessary tickets. I had a 2000 turbocharged yellow New Beetle and the cops would not leave me alone. I finally had to get rid of it things got so bad. One ticket I had was for $800 USD! Do the cops pretty much leave people alone in sports cars in Japan or have they too turned it into an excuse to rob people?
