Kapibara カピバラ is the next big thing. Spotted tonight in Tokyu Hands, Shibuya. Kapibara is the Relakkuma リラックマ killer. Agree? Don’t care?

Seems to have the same character as rilakkuma: sleeps all day. Doesn’t look like he’d kill rilakkuma. I reckon it’d be a close fight and they’d end up just resting…
I’ve seen Kapibara around in the UFO catchers, but I don’t think I’d actually seen much for sale. But Relakkuma Killer, them’s big words! On the one hand, he’s been around so damn long, how will anything take him out, on the other, he’s been arond so damn long, he can’t be much longer for this world.
Is he made by San-X? I’ll only believe if it’s San-X.
oh my goodness!! they are so cute! i had guinea pigs since i was a child till the pets were old enough to be great-great grand parents… i always wondered when designers are going to create a character based on guinea pigs… and they are finally here! unfortunately we can’t get them here YET…in KL…
