Dr. Zaius in Tokyo

Dr. Zaius, our favorite orangutan from The Planet of the Apes, is on display in front of someone’s house in Tokyo. I spotted him while walking around the back streets of Meidaimae. I don’t think the owner of the statue meant to display it in front of their house like this. I think it’s simply because they couldn’t get Dr. Zauis to fit through the front door. Nevertheless, the statue is very detailed. He has the ancient scrolls and everything.

Wow. Wonder if they really intend to place in their home or is it for sale.

Is that Grimace behind the good Dr.?

Roy, please steal Dr. Z and send him to me. It’s rightfully mine since I gave my son the middle name Zaius.

FYI: The statue is not Dr Zaius. It is the Lawgiver

VinylFreak, I don’t think it was Grimace.

Zombiebite, I’ll see what I can do.

Potanal, thanks for the correction.
