Darth Vader Samurai Helmet

Everyone knows that Darth Vader’s helmet design was inspired by the Samurai’s Kabuto (helmet). Now you can buy the Darth Vader variation of the samurai armour and helmet from Yoshitoku. On boy’s day (May 5) some families will display the kabuto in their homes in the same way as displaying the hinaningyo on girl’s day. Personally, I think it looks like a dead monkey skull but I supposed some die hard Star Wars fans will want one. Unfortunately, it is only sold in Japan. They will be taking orders from 10am Friday March 16th, the webpage doesn’t say how much it costs (please don’t send me a mail asking me to buy you one) You can see it on display at the Toy Show this coming sunday, March 18th.

Roy…if I give credit, may I steal these pics (among others from time to time) with credit given?

Eddie, if I’m in a good mood maybe I will go too. Want some company?

Sean, no need to give me credit since I lifted those photos from other sites (linked)
