I have noticed that the most opinionated, outspoken people in the office with the loudest voice are often the ones with the least responsibilities and lowest on the food chain, so to speak. Are they trying to make up for their unimportance with loudness? Or do they just have too much time to complain? In case you’re wondering, I’m not one of these peoples.
Be Quiet

hahahahahaha… but you’re the type who has the time to blog during office hours…
Shhhh…I was venting frustration so I could work more efficiently.
ahhahahahahahaaha… good one!
Actually I took the day off today to meet with a friend from the U.S. but he never called me so I didn’t want to waste a paid holiday and so came into the office anyway.
I’m guessing such people are the most dissatisfied with their situaton and want to draw attention to that fact. Perhaps they feel ignored and that a consequence of being ignored is their value as an employee goes unrecognized. However, they probably also have less drive to apply themselves to their work because they’re dissatisifed. It would be a viscious circle.
In most offices though, it is a fact that those who are hard-working, quiet and efficient get little recognition. This is more so the case in Japan where seniority still appears to play a great role in promotion and raises.
In my country, the ones who stay late into the night in the office usually will be blessed with higher increment and bonus towards the end of the year. Not to forget praises from your boss.
Sadly in my company, the loudest morons are usually the fast-track movers. Because in a big company, you got to stand out (not in a screwed-up way) so that the bosses can notice you.
To attract attention. And these people are the ones who will NEVER leave the company. The quiet ones are the ones who quietly search for a new opening, and then, out of the blue, leave the company.
