Half the roof of the mini was chopped off and the backseat area and trunk was converted into refrigerators to carry drink samples. A campaign girl asked if I wanted a free Red Bull so I said sure. To my surprise, before handing me one she opened it and said I had to drink it all before I left. Well, I don’t really like Red Bull and I had just had another genki drink so I wasn’t feeling like having any more caffeine. But since it was open I didn’t want it to go to waste. There must have been some law passed recently that they can’t give out free unopened samples of any kind of food or drink. Either that or to prevent hoarding. I’ve noticed they’re removing the wrapping on candies and chocolate as well. The other day I was given a piece of gum and the person opened up one end first. Very strange.

one of these cars pulled over and stopped at my HOUSE and there these two hot chicks and we asked how much??and they said jokingly-$20 and then like all the sudden they open this cooler in the back gave it to us, then just went motoring off.it was kinda like waving down an ice cream truck!i want them back for more!!

a friend of mine did that for the summer last year down at the beach, i got alot of free red bulls that summer. my stomach is just now getting over it XD.
u can get energy drinkk pretty much anywhere here in southern california…its almost pointless to actually pay for them

I see those Redbull cars around my area all the time, there are a few and they all have various custom number plates too. Before the Minis they use to use the ‘New’ VW Beetles. Possibly a reason for opening them, as your say, is to prevent hoarding and/or reselling. Or perhaps because there is so much caffeine in there they want to observe its whacky effects on unsuspecting Japanese citizens.

Around here, some of them just hand out the goods carelessly while others open the can/wrap before giving them away.
I’ve never been conditioned to finish the drink in the place, though. Hopefully that won’t start a trend among favor-giving campaigns.
Ya we got those ugly modified MINI’s in Halifax. Red Bull is a poor substitution for Jolt! Cola.
