Being the acrophobic that I am, I couldn’t do what these guys are doing. But I do want to wear those tabi boots （足袋） and baggy pants （ニッカズボン）. Don’t you think they’re just the coolest things in Japan? We should all wear these as regular clothes. I’m sure we all have a hidden desire to wear these pants and I bet some of the guys who do construction work became construction workers JUST so they could wear these pants. That’s not so strange as many women become flight attendants just to wear the uniform. We all have a little cosplay in us, don’t we? Those pants are called nikkazubon which is derived from knicker-bocker and zubon, the Japanese word for trousers.
