Did you know there are two kanji for kōyō? 紅葉 for maple and trees that turn red, and also 黄葉 for ginkgo (いちょう) that only turns yellow. Both read the same.
That's one of these subtleties that I like most about the language.

And thumbs up for the macron use! :)
