<description>That set I bought a while back for around 10,000yen. They still sell it although the color of the box is light blue now and I heard the cards are flimsier but I can't be sure. It's a nice set of cards and I'm finally going to use them.

<description>Good lord that's a lot of kanji! How much did that flashcard set cost you? I'm so sad. I think I retained only about a hundred. (;_;)

<description>Yes you're probably right about the number of Joyo Kanji. I meant to say I was refering to the number of kanji cards in the set.

To be honest I still have a way to go. I put kanji I knew at least one reading and one word for in the left pile so I still need to learn all of them completely!

<description>Wow, that's a lot of kanji there. The kanji I know are probably contained in your middle pile of cards.

I thought there were 1950 or so official kanji not over 2000? Ah well, what's an extra 100??

Good luck on winning the car, even if you have to buy it yourself!
