Sato-chan & Satoko-chan

See those 2 elephants in front of this lonely looking pharmacy? They are Sato-chan, the orange male one, and Satoko-chan, the pink female one. They’re mascots for Sato Pharmaceutical and people steal these things all the time. Satoko-chan is more rare that’s why she’s chained to the public phone beside her. I read a news article that someone was put in jail for stealing one of these.

“I read a news article that someone was put in jail for stealing one of these.”

I thought that was for stealing the Fujiya Peko-chan mascot: http://snipurl.com/10rdd

Yeah, you are correct. I remembered that a little after I posted it but am too lazy to change it.

Roy, you know that you are one of my super heroes. And a role model. I now own the GR because of you. But I am worried about you. Looking at your history of cameras and keitais; you own about a dozen to my three in as many years. I think this means that I am overly thrifty and you are in need of a visit to the shopaholic counsellor.
This is a public service announcment for many of your readers too.
Come on folks. Support me on this one.

They’re awfully cute. They should manufacture statuettes to sell to the general public and maybe people would stop swiping them? If I had to pass one of those every day I’d probably think about stealing one too.

Timothy, thank you for your concern. No need to worry, my spending is in check. All is good.

Shaindle, how much will you pay me to steal one for you?

Thanks for the lesson:) I always see them when I am over there, and I figured they were a mascot, but had no clue for what.
