It was crowded on the Marunouchi line this evening and there was a young girl hugging her boyfriend. Not just your normal hug, this was a PRINCESS LEIA HUG! You know, like when she hugs Luke Skywalker as they swung across the Death Star Chasm. Everyone who got on the train turned away to avoid looking at them. Not only prude obasans, but young OLs, teenagers, salarymen, everyone. They dared not look, not because they were disgusted or embarrassed by the sight. They turned away to avoid feeling jealous. You see, these two looked like the happiest couple in the world.
I ran through Tokyo Station to get to the Docomo Shop before they closed. Somewhere along the way, I lost my SUICA Train Pass.
