Last night, I got on the bus and sat down in the front. I kept smelling fish but I thought it was my imagination. Then I turned around and saw a man holding a big fish by the tail. First time for me to see that. I guess this sort of thing might be a common sight in fishing towns but not in Tokyo. Shouldn’t there be a law against this sort of thing? I’m sure people would protest if someone brought smelly roadkill onto a bus and a fish is a dead animal of sorts, isn’t it? I wanted to take a picture but the man looked very angry so I thought he might bitchslap me with that fish. Angry Fishman. Anyway, why do buses stop running so early in this country? So inconvenient for me.

I feel your pain, most busses in Belgium stop running at 10 PM. The few that do have later hours are all inconvenient for me to take. It isn’t always easy to find a sober volunteer who doesn’t mind driving..
At what time of night does the Japanese public transport get crippled?
The last bus was at 9pm. Too early!
