Got my shipment of mineral water from Kurita tonight. I’m tired of ordering it every month so I got more than the average amount. Should last me a few months. This shipment cost a little more than ¥10,000 which works out to be around ¥100 per litre. Not really any cheaper than buying a 2 litre bottle from the store but I like the taste of this water and don’t have to deal with all the pet bottles.

Just out of curiosity, why would you order water? I thought in Japan, you can drink from the tap or boil the tap water.

Yes you can but I still prefer to drink mineral water. I saw a documentary about how they purify sewage into drinking water and while it is perfectly safe the idea is still kind of gross..

I’d like to have some of that , the packageing looks cool somehow. I like mineral water as well have 3-4 cases of Nestle in closet.

Are those in plastic bags and not bottles?

The water comes in biodegradable plastic bags and there’s a plastic container that holds the bags after you open them.
