Fancl has made Aojiru (pronounced “A-O-JI-RU”) fashionable for young ladies by packaging it with a cute shaker. Aojiru is a Japanese health drink made of grass. People generally dislike Aojiru because it taste like grass. The characters on the package are two polar bears who have green beards because of drinking Aojiru (Kawaii!)

I bought some extra pouches of Aojiru powder too. Together it cost me 1,600 yen, Expensive! They gave me a booklet which has some recipes..
Mix 1 pouch with 100ml of water. It dissolves quickly so you don’t need to shake it that much. I’m used to MRPs and Protein powders that don’t mix well and need you to shake the hell outta them.
Mmmmm, delicious grass drink! Try some. This aojiru is not as bitter as so called traditional aojiru..
Actually, it’s not grass but made from a kind of Cabbage called “Kale”. Fancl has some freeze dried technique that processes the Kale without losing any of the nutrients.
