Collagen is the new “Low Fat”. Put in on any product and people will buy it. I’m a little more convinced that Collagen has more credibility though (1) I bought some Collagen Natto today. I couldn’t taste the collagen in the natto but you could tell there was some in the sauce because it was thicker and more gelatiny (2) Don’t have time to cook rice so I just spread it on brown bread and toast it with a slice of cheese. Add a glass of Soy milk and you have a perfectly healthy meal.

Roy, good for you! I have never seen “Collagen Natto”like that.. Is that popular in Japan, now??
I noticed that anything it is named “Collagen “on it, people tend to purchase!
I want to try this, though… I hope it comes to Hawaii someday…!
Please let me know how your skin condition goes, when you eat it… Natto is the best with hot steamed rice, Roy…! I want to know how tasted that was with brown bread. (^-^;

Your open-faced sandwich looks delicious, but melted cheese and natto? It seems you could just about knit a sweater with all the strings that pull off it. Couldn’t you have topped it with some grated mountain potato?

Collagen: yet another food fad. I remember when squid ink was all the rage. I was quite disappointed when I could no longer find my beloved ika sumi English muffins at Seiyu. I wonder how long collagen “whatever” will persist.

Natto is supposed to be really healthy. I’ve even seen the enzyme nattokinase marketed as a health-food supplement. Do you know that Peter Pan also loves natto?

Akemi, Natto with bread is delicious and the cheese takes the smell away.

Percy, I’ve heard that one before..

If I would be told tomorrow is the last day of earth, I might try to taste it …! (^_^)
Nanchatte…! I will try that when I get REALLY starving…!! Haha…

Roy, you caught on the collagen craze too? Collagen is supposedly good for the body, as it is a major constituent of the skin, keeping it supple and taut, which is why, as people age, they do not have as much collagen in their skin and it wrinkles up.
Why don’t you try taking a face pic of yourself say a few weeks or months after continuously eating collagen and compare it with an old photo to see if it works? ;)

Urgh! I CAN’T stand the burnt taste of Natto :(
