This is the place where Prime Minister Koizumi brought President Bush for dinner and the place where Quentin Tarantino was inspired for the set of the final battle scene in Kill Bill Vol. 1. Got there at 10pm for a late dinner. It was hot as hell and I was glad to get out.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Wow, looks like there were a lot of gaijins there that night. Although I’ve never been there myself, but I loved Kill BIll.
Ack, why couldn’t you have posted this two weeks ago?
Seriously, this blog was a great resource for me and girlfriend’s trip to Tokyo earlier this month — thanks for that!
But we’re both huge fans of Kill Bill, so couldn’t you have gone to this restaurant two weeks ago?
;-)
Marcello, yeah it’s popular with foreigners like Ninja Akasaka is..
AC, sorry next time let me know your itinerary so I can post relevant materials ;)
I see white people….
As always,
You have such great material. Gonna have to check it our as I am a KB vol 1&2 fan, too.
If I may ask. I’m planning a vist to Japan with my kids from mid-June to mid July. First week in Tokyo. Should I be prepared for heavy un-ending rain? If so what do you suggest for itenary?
Any help appreciated.
Regards,
Hank
