I’m sorry to have to do this but here are more pictures of my car. Today, the third day of my long weekend devoted to just driving, I went out to Taiyo No Sato, a super onsen located along Kujyukuri beach out in Chiba. As far as driving goes, it wasn’t very interesting, just took the expressway there and back. I had planned on driving the entire perimeter of the Boso peninsula but the traffic there was fairly heavy so I arrived just before lunch. I also spent more than a few hours at the onsen relaxing and getting a massage so by the time I left it was already 4pm. These photos I took along the beach near the onsen.

(1) Taiyo No Sato is open 24 hours and has a sand bath, a dozen different kinds of mineral baths, relaxation room, movie theatre and (2) plenty of parking (3) There was even live theatre in the main dining room (4) Iwashi (sardine) is famous in the area so I had a Iwashi tempura donburi.

Congratulations on your new car!
I can feel how much you love your new car.
However, just be careful not to drive so fast and not have in an accident.
Recently, some young girl was driving while using her cell phone, she drove into our car which was parked at street. She was speeding and she could not controlled her car.
Now, her parents have to pay for fixing our car…which costs a lot…! I think we should really avoid using cell phone while driving, you know.
Akemi, I’m sorry to hear about your car. What kind of car was it? Anyway, I don’t use cell phone while driving so don’t worry!
Oh man, your car looks great in those pictures! Good buy :)
I noticed that you parked in the boonies in the onsen parking lot. Was that for the pic or for ding prevention on your new car? I used to consciously park far away to prevent other peoples car doors from opening into mine but I noticed here in Japan, most people are really careful/courteous about dings & stuff. Most cars I see on the street don’t have any dings at all.
Partly for the picture but mostly I prefer to park away from most of the traffic. The more people go in and out of the spaces beside you the more the chances of someone hitting your car. Not as much concerned about the door dings as I am about weekend drivers in rentals who don’t know how to park. I’ve seen it happen so many times, especially with roadster because it is so low and small many people don’t even notice it’s there. I’ve read so many stories of people in roadsters getting hit by SUVs in parking lots.
Also, I’m not the best at parking either so I don’t want to hit someone :(
