Today is Ice Cream Day according to the Ice Cream Association of Japan. It’s the first day that ice cream was made in Japan (May 9, 1869). I’m gonna go out and get a Giant Cone and some Pino!

UPDATE: Well, I did not go for the convenience store ice cream but enjoyed some anin-dofu ice cream at Starlight in the Hotel Okura. This restaurant has the best anin-dofu in Tokyo. So it says on the menu.

Doesn’t Ministop have some special deal on Ice Cream Day? Gotta drop by tonight!
Really? I love their Belgian Chocolate Soft Ice cream.
That’s also my favorite! :) Too bad it’s only there for a few months a year.
Not too sure about the ice cream day special though, will have to check.
There was nothing going on at Ministop. :( But I bought some soft ice cream anyway. :)
It is funny to see the “Ice Cream Day” entry and the “Blog to Fat Ratio” entry side by side on your webpage. Now, if I only would be able to explain why that seems funny to me …
Patrick: Mini-Stop sucks. They can’t even recognize Ice Cream Day. Sheesh!
J: Ha! That is funny and ironic. I didn’t even pick that up.
